I've been a lifelong animal lover, dog, pig, alpaca, hedgehog-doesn't matter, I love them all. I got  into rescue in 2014, I had just lost my husband in a motorcycle accident and needed something. A friend introduced me to Jana and I've been sucked in since!!
Back then DADR was a small underfunded, under staffed rescue. I am amazed at how far DADR has come! Still underfunded (lol) but with such great volunteers, fosters and adopters! Jana's mission has always been simple, Do our best to save the ones that truly need us!
